Local Tampa Bay Airport Visited by Bees!

Just recently we were called out to remove a bee swarm near an entrance to Tampa International Airport.  When you see a bee swarm such as this, please don’t agitate the bees, rather step back and call on a professional for bee swarm removal in Tampa, FL.  Bees in this state are typically “gentle”, as they have no hive or babies to defend.

Many have asked why the bee swarm forms a “cluster” as you see in the featured photo above.  This is because the worker bees are gathered around the queen bee to protect her.  Swarms like this are typically focused on finding a new home and have no interest in you, as they have split off from the parent colony to form their own.  Did you know that a bee swarm may weigh up to 5 pounds?

Feel free to call us at 727-359-4963 with any questions or bee removal concerns.  We perform bee removal and relocation in all of Tampa Bay including Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, and Brandon, and are licensed and insured for your protection.
